Top 5 Drinking Games Without Cards

Drinking games are fun, but many drinking games require a pack of cards. However, the best drinking games are spontaneous – and not everybody carries a pack of cards with them to parties or to the bar.

If you’re looking for some quality party drinking games that don’t require cards, you’re in the right place. Keep reading for our top 5 drinking games without cards.

1- Shot Roulette

Shot roulette is one of the easiest drinking games you can play – and is perfect for when you’ve already had a couple of drinks and your attention span is too low to play complicated games.

To play this entertaining drinking game, all you need is a few shot glasses, a roulette wheel, and of course, a selection of alcohol. You need a minimum of two people to play this game, but it’s certainly more fun when played in a group.

If you don’t have a roulette wheel, you could always download a roulette wheel app for the same effect.

First of all, you need to prepare the shots – choose whichever alcohol you like. Many people choose spirits vodka, tequila, sambuca, but you can use pretty much any spirit you have to hand.

You could even add mixers, water, wine, or beer to add an element of surprise – after all, you never know what you’re going to get with shot roulette.

Then, simply place the shot glasses around the roulette wheel and spin! When it lands on you, drink up.

2- Text Or Shot

If you don’t trust your friends, maybe this game isn’t for you – but it’s sure to get everybody laughing (and some possibly crying!).

Simply place your phones on the table and mix them up, and get everybody to take a random phone (that isn’t their own).

Then, everyone writes a message to someone on the phone they’ve selected – but don’t send it just yet. You can make the message as funny as you like, but make sure it’s not too personal or life-ruining.

Going around the circle, everybody will have the chance to take a shot or have the message sent. After a few shots, the best option will probably be having the text sent…

3- Beer Pong

Beer pong is the perfect game for house parties and is slightly more complicated than the other games on our list.

It’s a great way to get to know each other, as it involves working in small teams – and competing!

You’ll need around 10 plastic cups, a large table, a ping pong ball, and plenty of beer (or a drink of your choice).

Arrange 5 cups on each side of the table into a pyramid, and separate in teams of two or three. Two teams play at once, with one team on either side of the table.

The goal is to throw the ping pong ball into a cup on the other side of the table – and when the ball lands into the opponent’s cup, then they have to drink from the cup and remove it from the table.

Continue the game until all the cups are gone from one side – the team that still has cups on their side of the table wins.

4- Never Have I Ever

This game is one of the best icebreaker games for getting to know new people, making it perfect for new students or for house parties. However, a word of warning – this game can reveal all of your secrets.

It’s also one of the easiest games to play – all you need is plenty of alcohol and your imagination.

You need at least two people to play this game, but it’s better with more people. Simply sit or stand in a circle and take it in turns to say something you’ve never done. If anybody in the group has done that thing, then they must drink.

5- Paranoia

This game has ruined a few friendships and is best played with people than know each other well.

You only need alcohol and people to play this game, making it super easy to play anywhere, whether at a party or a bar.
Each player takes it in turn to whisper a question to the person next to them (who is most likely to__/ who do you think is the best at__, etc). Then, the person who got asked the question needs to point at the person that’s their answer to the question.

In order for the person pointed at to know what the question was, they have to drink. Like never have I ever, it can be pretty revealing.
